The visitors' programme of the Labour Research Group is part of a larger visitors' programme run by the Department of Economics. The objective for the LaRGe is to have one to two visitors per year providing advanced courses for our master or PhD students. Courses for PhD students can best be integrated into our PhD programme if they are offered around March/April or August/September. In addition, we are inviting shorter-term visitors for whom we organize research workshops on the topics of particular interest.
Visitors can be invited or can apply for a visit. We are especially interested in exchange of ideas in the labour economics with an emphasis on information frictions, search and matching imperfections, institutional unemployment, firm dynamics and industrial relations. Remuneration is highly attractive. Visits can last between anything from 2 days to 3 to 4 weeks. For more details, please contact Andrey Launov, Thorsten Schank or Klaus Wälde.
